YGOP Ball    

The YGOP Ball is the group's premier social event of the year. With attendance typically over 200 members, this black-tie has become a mainstay of the Greenwich social calendar.

YGOP members, guests, office holders, and Notable Republicans mix in an atmosphere of celebration at locations such as The Round Hill Country Club, Greenwich Country Club and the Burning Tree Club. The event includes cocktails, dinner, dancing and mingling with fellow Republicans.

Special guests have included State party Chairman Christopher DePino, State Treasurer Christopher Burnham, Congressman Christopher Shays, State Senator William Nickerson, State Senatorial Candidate Gary Franks, National College Republican Chairman Candidate Scott Stewart, Greenwich First Selectman John B. Margenot, Greenwich First Selectman Thomas Ragland, State Representatives Claudia "Dolly" Powers, Janet Lockton and Marilyn Hess.
