This event held in Late June is seen as the
Kick Off for the political season by many people in Greenwich.
We have cocktails in the tranquil sanctuary of the Montgomery
Pinetum Nature Preserve in Greenwich, and invite a notable
Republican Speaker to address the membership. Previous speakers
have been: State Senator John McKinney, son of the late Congressman
Stewart McKinney, Prescott S. Bush, Jr., brother of Former
President George H.W. Bush, uncle of President George P. Bush
and former Chairman of the YGOP of Greenwich and others.
In addition the YGOP presents the YGOP bowl
to a member of the Republican community that has provided
strong support to the organization.
