Meet the Candidates

Traditionally held in October, the event gives members the opportunity to meet and discuss issues with Republican Candidates for office in a more intimate setting. Candidates from across the state make it a point to attend, ranging from local office holders to state wide officers to candidates for U.S. Congress and Senate.

The past speakers have included Governor John Rowland, Congressman Christopher Shays, State Senator William Nickerson, State Senatorial Candidate Gary Franks, National CollegeRepublican Chairman Candidate Scott Stewart, Greenwich First Selectman John B. Margenot, Greenwich First Selectman Lolly Prince, State Representatives Claudia "Dolly" Powers, Janet Lockton and Marilyn Hess.

For more than 10 years, the event has been hosted by Mr. & Mrs. Malcom Pray.
