The YGOP of Greenwich is primarily a social organization for people between the ages of 21 and 40, and the young at heart. The group also gives its members the opportunity to get to know and support Republican candidates by holding events for candidates to meet voters, assisting in campaign volunteering, and supporting the local, state and national party through volunteering. Founded in 1946, the organization historically has up to 350 members.
The YGOP is great way to meet and get to know others members of the larger Greenwich community and connect to an organization with deep roots here. And if your goal is to get more involved in Republican politics at the local, state or national level, the YGOP, which has a solid network of mentors in place, is the perfect way to get more involved.

mission of the YGOP:
To introduce young people in
the Greenwich, Connecticut and Fairfield County
area to the Republican political process.
To take an active role and
participate in Republican politics at the local,
state and national levels and to encourage
its members to begin a life long commitment
to the democratic process.
To partake in political and
social events in keeping politics an enjoyable
